Mental Health First Aid Training

ASIST PLACES AVAILABLE – 15TH -16TH MARCH 2011

Please note BAVO have a number of places left for this months ASIST training course (being held next Tuesday and Wednesday) at BAVO offices Maesteg between 9am and 4.30pm. Attendance for both the days is required.

Mind Cymru is delivering this essential “Suicide First Aid” training to people and communities across Bridgend and Neath Port Talbot as part of the local ‘Improving Futures’ Suicide reduction strategy and the local ‘Siaradwn Ni / Let’s Talk’ project. The course is suitable for citizens, community workers and front line staff.

The training costs are covered by the Big Lottery (usually £180 pp), and therefore it’s available free of charge for people who live or work in the Counties of Bridgend and Neath Port Talbot. Please note that whilst tea& coffee is provided – lunch is not.

Please note on this occasion, due to timescales BAVO are wavering the £20 deposit ..
